1. Introduction

Welcome to OrChaotari Car Rental. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services.

By accessing this website and using our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use OrChaotari Car Rental's website or services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Rental Agreement

A rental agreement will be formed between you and OrChaotari Car Rental when you book a vehicle through our website, by phone, or in person at our office. The rental agreement is subject to these terms and conditions.

The rental agreement is between you (the renter) and OrChaotari Car Rental Pte. Ltd. (the company). By entering into this agreement, you agree to all terms and conditions specified herein.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to rent a vehicle from OrChaotari Car Rental, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Hold a valid driver's license that has been valid for at least 1 year
  • Have a valid credit card in your name
  • For international visitors, possess a valid international driving permit along with your original driver's license

Additional eligibility requirements may apply for specific vehicle categories, particularly luxury and premium vehicles.

4. Reservation and Payment

4.1 Reservation

You can make a reservation through our website, by phone, or in person at our office. All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.

4.2 Payment

Payment can be made using major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or bank transfer for advanced bookings. We require a valid credit card for security deposit purposes.

4.3 Security Deposit

A security deposit is required at the time of rental. The amount varies depending on the vehicle category and rental duration. The deposit will be refunded within 7-14 business days after the vehicle is returned, subject to any deductions for damages, traffic fines, or additional charges as outlined in this agreement.

5. Cancellation and Modifications

5.1 Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time
  • 50% charge for cancellations between 24-48 hours before pickup
  • No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before pickup

5.2 Modifications

Modifications to a booking are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments. Please contact us as soon as possible to make any changes to your reservation.

6. Vehicle Usage

6.1 Permitted Use

The vehicle may only be used on public roads within Singapore, unless specifically authorized in writing by OrChaotari Car Rental.

6.2 Prohibited Use

The renter and any authorized drivers may not:

  • Use the vehicle for any illegal purpose
  • Use the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Use the vehicle for racing, speed tests, or any competitive events
  • Use the vehicle to transport goods or passengers for commercial purposes unless authorized
  • Use the vehicle to tow or push anything
  • Carry more passengers than the vehicle is designed to carry
  • Drive the vehicle outside of Singapore without prior written authorization

7. Insurance and Liability

7.1 Insurance Coverage

Our rental rates include basic insurance coverage with a deductible amount that varies based on the vehicle category. Additional coverage options are available for purchase.

7.2 Renter's Liability

The renter is responsible for:

  • All damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance
  • The deductible amount in case of an accident or damage
  • Loss or damage resulting from prohibited use of the vehicle
  • Traffic violations, fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period

8. Vehicle Return

8.1 Return Procedure

The vehicle must be returned on the date, time, and location specified in the rental agreement. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as it was received, except for normal wear and tear.

8.2 Late Return

Late returns are subject to additional charges. A grace period of 30 minutes is provided, after which an additional day's rental fee may apply.

8.3 Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a refueling charge will apply.

9. Termination of Agreement

OrChaotari Car Rental reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle without prior notice if the renter violates any terms of this agreement, or if the vehicle is damaged, or if the renter has provided false information.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

11. Amendments

OrChaotari Car Rental reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
